JD.com, a Chinese online retailer, is entering the NFT industry with a new NFT series. This special NFT series will be introduced at its JD Discovery conference.
JD.com, a Chinese new agency Sina Finance, reported Oct. 20 that it will distribute commemorative NFT certificates using its blockchain platform to all attendees at the JDD 2021 event.
JD.com will issue one NFT to everyone who registers for the JDD 2021 conference between October 18 and Nov 22 via the WeChat mini program.
According to the report, there are seven NFT models in the NFT series. Each model contains different images that can be used to identify the different forums within the JDD event.
Participants who sign up for the program will also be able to receive more NFTs by inviting their friends. The report states that for each person who is successfully invited to sign-up, one NFT voucher will automatically be added until the seven NFT models have been collected.
On Nov. 22, the China International Exhibition Center will host the JDD 2021 conference, featuring panels on artificial intelligence (AI) and tech innovation. The JDD conference was established in 2017 and has become a key technology event in China. It covers topics such as smart cities, digital financial industry, and supply chain innovation.
